The Portland Kiwanis Club is dedicated to helping those less fortunate, especially children. We support projects for underprivileged children, as well as work with a number of local agencies to help area youth.

We sponsor eight youth levels of the Kiwanis Family, known as Service Leadership Programs.  They are six Key Clubs at Brunswick, Cheverus, Catherine McAuley, Deering, Gorham, and Portland High Schools; a Circle K Club at the University of Southern Maine; and an Aktion Club with STRIVE.  We also sponsor a Cub Scout Pack located at Front Street in Portland.
